milleraies and preface: best of friends

Todays’ centerfold features the gold Parker 75 Milleraies (circa ’80s) and the green marble Waterman Preface (c. 2005). The Parker is a wee bit shorter.

The Parker has a 14k extra-fine gold nib, while the Waterman parades an elegant 18k fine.

And in case you haven’t noticed – I have finally learned how to take macro (closeup) pictures. Many thanks to my friend, professional photographer Einar Sy, for teaching me how to work the settings on my Canon Ixus i (5 mp).
