It is a 1944 double-jewel Parker Vacumatic with a 14-karat gold stiff extra-fine nib lovingly restored by Butch Palma.

Jenny, Thanks for the invite. I’d like nothing better except but I’m thwarted by 8,000 miles! However, I do enjoy your posts about the penmeets. The pictures and text certainly make me feel like I’ve stopped by to watch the fun. Leigh is a friend of mine and I always love any pictures of her doing calligraphy and shaming my scrawly handwriting. Since your inspiration I’ve disassembled my Vac and once I get a part will be happily giving it new life.

Hi, Coleen! Thanks for visiting my blog. I got the red Moleskine last year at Fully Booked at Power Plant mall, Rockwell.
You can still get the 2009 planners – they’re on sale now. They have them in red patent and black patent.
